Gail Sutton will outline "Sink Your Shucks," the first oyster restoration program in Texas to reclaim oyster shells from local restaurants to build substrate for new reefs and habitat for fish, crabs, and other organisms. In addition to her main role as Chief Operating Officer at the Institute, Ms. Sutton, who in 2011 earned her master’s degree in Fisheries and Mariculture from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, co-manages “Sink Your Shucks."
