Description
Join us for our annual Brown Bag Lunch Lecture Series and enjoy interesting and educational presentations! This is our longest-running and highest attended free program at the Texas Maritime Museum and we appreciate your participation.
Brown Bag lectures are free of charge. Guests are welcome to bring their own lunch, but cookies will be provided.
March 2: We’ll have various speakers telling personal and family stories about the history and development of the fishing, crabbing, and shrimping industries
among our Vietnamese population.
March 16: We’ll receive an update from Ph.D. student Shannan McAskill, who has been continuing her research on the effects of Hurricane Harvey on fish populations.
March 23: Dr. Wade Harrell and Laura Bonneau from Aransas National Wildlife Refuge will come to present their annual whooping crane update.
March 30: We’ll have the Perry R. Bass Memorial Sports Fishing Hall of Fame induction.
