Description

Celebrate Texas and colonial history with our Winter Lecture Series presentation, “Bernardo De Gálvez,” presented by Caroline Crimm, on Monday, February 2nd, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. This lecture highlights the life and legacy of Bernardo De Gálvez, a key figure in the American Revolution whose efforts in the Gulf Coast and Louisiana played a vital role in shaping early Texas history. Caroline Crimm will provide insight into Gálvez’s contributions, leadership, and the impact of his actions on Texas and the broader Gulf Coast region. The session will conclude with a Q&A, allowing attendees to engage directly with the speaker and explore the topic further. Admission is free, with donations gratefully accepted. Enjoy coffee and light refreshments, generously provided by H-E-B and Duck Blind Coffee.
